What do you think of the picture?
(is from a friend)
My girlfriend, who slept with me last night, told me that she dreamed about me. I was already feeling extremely uncomfortable about the situation and wanted to tell her not to say anything else, but she did and told me about her dream. She said: "She doesn't know where she was; it was so dark…
Hello! I bought a diamond painting picture today, but now I have the problem that the boxes are labeled with e.g. L, A and G However, there is no package labeled with the letters. For this I have packs that are labeled from 1 to 22. In the picture the boxes only go up to…
Hello I have a Singer machine, and it's been acting up for some reason. Every time I sew something, the needle jams after a few seconds. I can barely get the fabric out, and a huge clump of thread forms, which isn't only annoying but also a waste. I'm still a complete beginner and am…
I'd like to have a plush toy. I have the pattern. I just don't have a sewing machine or the skills to use one. Where can I get it sewn?
I'd like to get into the graffiti scene a bit. Do you have any tips, especially marker recommendations, for beginners? Are there any ways to connect? Help a girl out🫶
Looks very much for me as if it were lacking in the basics, especially in terms of anatomy, wrinkles, three-dimensional design and light and shadow, and as if they were trying to conceal these defects by an excessive use of “circumsts”.
I’d advise her to practice the basics.
I would say this picture is more abstract than that it should be realism. Abstract art doesn’t need it all (forcing) x)
It seems to me more like an excuse… You should master the basics before you try to break them or ignore them.
And for the fact that the foundations have been deliberately broken, I do not see any signs above.
I would like to give tips on how to improve and how to count on where there is potential for improvement and how to improve.
Nuja, I can also see that. Why is that a problem? As I said, I also believe that we are not sitting here in front of a masterpiece.
I just think that the lack of knowledge of these basics should not stop anyone from taking a brush in their hands and painting it off. For as I said: Masters rarely fall from heaven and until you really are GUT in what you do/learn, like to pass years or decades (you leave “wonder children” outside).
For example, Edvard Munch can be taken as a counter-example – which has painted images in which wrinkles, light and shadow play or proportions are ensnared to virtually not present (“Ash”, “The woman in three stages”, Mother and Daughter”).
In the end, there is always someone who admires a yellow square on a white background, as well as someone who is amazed by a work of art from Da Vinci
The “solt” was meant in the sense of “it’s not a good idea”.
When I say you should tie up your shoes, I’m not prohibiting anyone with open laces. But if the person stumbles over the laces and learns how asphalt tastes, she will understand why I said “solt”.
As I said, in the above picture, I realize that the foundations are not controlled. Abstract intent.
And yes, abstract art also revolves around these templates. According to my knowledge, Jackson Pollock has planned and designed all his pictures (as random and arbitrary they may appear) according to artistic principles such as the golden cut or the Fibonacci column.
I meant the part with the “solt”. Who sets up the rule that you should be able to or master anything before you start working with (or against)? This doesn’t make any sense at all, because even those who dominate anatomy or shading, wrinkles etc. had to learn this first. Do you think they can’t publish a single picture as long as they haven’t perfected these “bases”?
I mean, of course this picture shown here is not perfect. But if one wants to place value on realism and/or necessarily realize that the artist also puts a Da Vinci in the shadows. Because abstract art does not revolve around all these foundations. Well, that’s at least my opinion.
That’s logical. How do you want to break something artistic if you don’t know and/or master it? You can see whether a person has the idea of anatomy has an anatomically incorrect image or has no idea of it.
Well, I’ve never heard of it before and I’ve been painting/drawing for about 30 years.
Just find the hair color slightly overcrowded (something too dark).
The hair thus penetrates somewhat too much into the foreground.
But overall I like it very well.
Not in the negative sense. I think it’s interesting, a little grotesque and strange.
Nothing I’d hang on the wall, but in any case something I can look at over a longer period of time to speculate what it could express. And also a little inspiring
I had the choice between “inspired” and “outstanding”. But I can’t explain what I think so great about the picture.
Coming and balanced. The red at the top of the left can become stronger in the core.
But a little creepy.
Fantastic!
