How do I find the coefficient of friction?

Hey, I need help with my Phyisk HA

So I'm supposed to calculate the work.

The task is:

“How much work is it (at least) to pull a 150 kg box 12 m across the ground when you have to apply a pulling force of 500 N?”

In the previous tasks, there was always some unnecessary information in the task, but in this task you need everything, right? ;()

I know you need the friction work here (WR = friction coefficient • force • distance)

But somehow that doesn't help me, because you need the coefficient of friction to calculate it, but that isn't even given.

So far I have:

against: s=12m, FG = 500 N

total: friction work WR

How do I continue my calculation? Because I need the coefficient of friction to continue my calculations…

Can I change the formula somehow or something?

Thank you in advance

Kathrin 😉

The tensile force (!) is given, you do not need the coefficient.

Look out, write down, I select the coefficient : xyz.

0.1 is always good, pure abdominal feeling 😂
