How do you explain such behavior?

Hey, I go to secondary school and one of my former classmates, who used to be my girlfriend, came out as bisexual, then therian, and now also non-binary, if you can put it that way. She basically told the whole class and is now being bullied mainly for the therian thing. I'm wondering if it's an attention-seeking thing for her. I mean, sure, bisexual is quite possible, non-binary too, maybe therian, but three at the same time and then almost showing off. I'm really quite confused.
