Theoretically in the settings via –> Database –> Add folder (–>)

With Handies, however, this becomes difficult to impossible as long as they do not appear as a drive in the “Workplace/My Computer/This PC”, but rather as a “subjectable device”.

For USB sticks with other than NFTS file systems via above or above “Add folder” path.
Consider that added paths are NOT updated live in this way… that only works with NFTS, because ‘Everything’ doesn’t scan the whole content of the plate, but “only” the MFT reads out… that’s super-fix… that’s in this form but also only with NTFS.
FAT32 sticks etc. are read in “classical” way by complete scanning of the file system, and the results of the scan are then stored in the database. The actuality of the search results then also corresponds to the status of the last scan.

Hello,

in extras/settings of select the database, NTFS lists and include the external drive (USB stick, SD card, connected phone, etc.).

Best regards from Leipzig
