Hi do the following before you delete the person make a photo of the chat history and then you delete it

Pass on you keeps your cell phone firmly pressed on the Home Botton together with the button that is pressed on the right side together with both and then you automatically take a photo

If you delete a contact, the chat should be kept, but not connected to a number
