How to transport flowers in a backpack?

Hello folks,

I want to make my girlfriend happy and surprise her tomorrow because she thinks I'm not coming until Sunday.

My plan is to buy flowers for her and then, when she opens the door, see me. But no one can take me there, so I have to ride my moped, and my only option is to carry them in my backpack…

How do I do this? I want to give her an orchid and a rose.

thanks in advance

If the orchid is in a top, you can put it in a plastic bag and glue the bag on the stem of the orchid “rumz vortexing” and with Tesafilm that this mulch remains in the pot.

For the rose you can attach a sash or similar to the stem that the skewer protrudes above the rose head and then wrap it with paper. The spear then prevents the flower from being crushed by the paper. Also wrap a damp paper towel down around the rose that it remains fresh

Could you drive by public transport?

I’m going by bus and buying flowers in the neighboring town. I take such a large plastic shopping bag – these permanent bags with trash loops – and let the flowers wrap in completely (i.e. paper over stems and flowers). Mostly the bouquet is longer than the bag and the flower side looks out, but that’s not a problem. The return journey takes up to one hour from the purchase to the front door, depending on the bus departure time, and so far every bouquet has survived.

You could, of course, try to put a packed ostrich in the backpack, which should then include something that clamps the bouquet a bit (e.g. pillows and laundry) and close the backpack up as far as it goes.

Only then would I try this self-picked ostrich on a cheap sample bouquet or even with thin paper. Once around the block, see how the flowers are and whether they are in danger of falling out in the curve.

I would stick a 40×60 cm large piece of corrugated cardboard a tube and put it in the backpack and lower the orchid and the rose.

Let rose roll into e.g. newspaper paper and carefully clean orchid with such a bag around the pot. have often transported flowers and plants in the backpack
