Hi, when driving a car, you can’t have personal insurance, but the car must be insured, otherwise it wouldn’t be allowed.

The insurance has to pay, no matter who drives.

Now all has a hook. Insurers get discounts on their contributions if they exclude certain persons from driving their vehicle:

All, all not family members, all young drivers under 23 etc. The stricter, the more discount.

If an accident occurs with an excluded driver, the insurance must pay anyway. However, it can reclaim the discounts granted by the policyholder retroactively for a few years.

Well, for treatment costs in the case of illness or injury, you are insured.

You might have taken out an accident insurance for further accidents.

For the impunity you drive by car, the car is liable-insured… without this insurance, it wouldn’t have been granted.

The holder of the vehicle you drive must indicate the age of the youngest driver in the vehicle insurance.

The insurance premium to be paid may then be adjusted = increased.

The insurance will be completed for the car not the driver. Depending on the exact conditions, each of your mother’s car is insured or only household, only registered drivers etc. Ask her or she should ask her insurance

About your mother’s insurance. Ideally, it’s in there that other people drive.

It depends on the driver age – names play no role here…

Look, most of the time, it’s in that insurance companies and people of their household drive the car. If you are under 23, this should be specified separately

No, not the names. Only age if you are under 25 or so

The car is insured, in the insurance policy should stand in that other people of their household drive the car. M. W., it’s usually automatic. If you’re under 23, it should be taken in.
