I eat oat flakes both cooked and uncooked.

Unprocessed oat flakes should at least be soaked due to the phytic acid. Phytic acid does not harm us, but binds the nutrients. Whether water, milk, yogurt, etc is irrelevant.

Cooked oat flakes lose some nutrients, but are easier tolerated in the case of stomach problems.

I find raw oat flakes of kernel, boiled creamier. So it’s all about my current Gusto as I’m preparing them.

I didn’t say that well. Unprocessed is exactly wrong. Mean was raw, so uncooked. But if you leave them in soy milk for half an hour, soy milk should have split up the phytic acid. So you can sleep with the best conscience 🙂

I use oat flakes in muesli or as soup, bake them in bread or biscuits.

Do not cook then important nutrients are lost. Turn in overnight and warm up a little. Even with some fruit of your choice. Best wishes of the cook

I usually use oat flakes to make me oat milk. 3 tablespoons are comminuted to one liter of water and with bar mixer, then poured through a sieve. What remains in the sieve then comes an egg, dinkele flour, oil, pinch salt and water. From this, a kind of pancake dough that is baked on a small flame is quite delicious.

Cooking only for porridge.

Usually in the bowl with cold milk or orange juice, fresh fruit and nuts or almonds.
