How do you get the Green Environmental Zone sticker despite a downpipe?

Hello,

I can't seem to figure it out anymore and can't find a sensible answer on Google.

There is the following problem and the following questions:

A vehicle I am interested in has a downpipe without a catalytic converter and without an exhaust system.

But it is apparently registered in the license as an 89mm system from turbo with catalytic converter and MSD.
Great sound, no question!
But isn't that tax evasion?
and anyway unfortunately illegal?

Seller says don't worry, it won't be obvious during a police check.

I want to buy the vehicle but drive it legally without losing much sound.
I need the green sticker for my towns here.

Now come the questions:

Only with Euro 4 = Green Sticker?

Can I get the green one with Euro 1?

Is it enough to simply weld in a 200-cell catalytic converter with an E-mark without having to carry out an individual inspection for the car as described above?
Because according to the certificate it is already registered.

Please someone tell me what I have to do to get a green sticker and still keep as much sound as possible?
(legally, of course)

It's a Subaru Impreza WRX imported from Japan, if that's relevant.

Thank you in advance!!

Best regards

Heinrich

200 Cells with E sign only goes when the rest is series.

Otherwise, it’s just illegal. No police who will recognize it right away. The difference is more than clear.

To make this legal if possible, you need a detailed exhaust gas review, which should cost several thousand. For this, you must not be louder than the driving noise input in the vehicle license, should also be problematic.

So it’s always illegal.

Would also like to get the OPF out of my car and other Kat. But legally not as easy as possible and I don’t have so much money.

If the car is complete, then yes.

The E number applies only to this part if all other parts are in the serial state. Promise engine original, no tuning. residual exhaust system original etc.

I couldn’t do my car downpipe with E sign because I got another exhaust system on it. That would have to be checked with exactly the plant I have.

So one from the community of the car I own has its car also well tuned, other software, other exhaust system, flip flop effect torture, body styling kit, downpipe, 200 zeller etc.

But somehow, everything got entered. It’s easy to fight the police.

What happened? He was stopped, the police in Cologne probably praised him and said, “This is still real doing, what is this for a car? and beautiful day still”

That’s how it can run. So if there’s no rusty 3 golf with peasant exhaust, you won’t be pulled out negatively.

If you want it legal, yes.

There’s a lot of things going illegal in the tuning scene. Depending on where you live, it really doesn’t adore anyone, in other areas the renn line knows well and white.

I just want to go legal, save unnecessary stress and lots of money.

How to get the Green Environmental Zones Plakette despite Downpipe?

Every internal combustion engine has a “downpipe”, it doesn’t matter. This means the “shock pipe”, i.e. the connecting piece between the elbows of the engine and the exhaust system. Thus it is a question of the exhaust gas standard whether you get “green” or not.

A vehicle I am interested has a downpipe without KAT and without MSD.

Cheers. So the beet does not meet any harmful substances or noise limits. The next police control will disassemble the box at your expense and record everything. You can assemble.

Seller doesn’t mean worry, it’s not obvious in a police control.

I’d say that, too, I’d like to sell at any price. The honest sentence “The car to be sold stinks and smells far, – and audible so that you are stopped every few meters” is not very sales-promoting. 😀

Only at Euro 4 = Green plaque?

Only for cars – diesel engines without soot filter (with soot filter Euro 3). Ottomotors get the green plaque from the Euro 1, which one does not manage without 3 ways – cat with lambda control (“G-Kat”).

Please tell me what do I have to do to get a green plaque and still keep as much sound as possible?

(please be legal of course)

purchase a vehicle which has been removed with a high db (A) value at work and (as a gasoline) meets at least the Euro 1.

No, “Downpipe” means end pipes that show down and blow the exhaust gases to the floor. The counterpiece to this is the “Straight Pipe”, here the pipe ends just under the bumper.

No

“Can I also get green with Euro 1?”

Yes
