How to get training as an asylum seeker?

Hello, I am an asylum seeker in Berlin and need an apprenticeship by December 31, 2024, otherwise I will be deported.

I have already applied for many jobs and the employment agency also said that my applications were good.

However, my report card does not contain good grades.

I am motivated to do my best in my training and I also speak fluent German.

What can I do?

Would newspaper ads or portals like "Quoka" help?

I’ve just researched what you can do with a school certificate.

It seems to be useful if you contact the employment agency and a vocational training centre.

I would also try to apply to a supermarket chain like Kaufland or REWE as a warehouse player or the like.

Food retail is always looking for, for example, you can simply make a seller training that takes 2 years. If you’re doing well and you’re enjoying the work, after the 2 years you can hang another 1 year to the retailer.

Ascent opportunities in the industry are very good, for example, we had an Iranian as a cross-comer and he worked up as a market leader in 3 years. He was really highly motivated and had Bock.

Otherwise, a completed vocational training is very much value, even if only as a seller.

I’m trying to explain the problem.

A friend of mine who has his own company once told me, “I would hire someone at any time if I knew he wouldn’t hurt the company.

If you can make it clear that you’re ready to work, then you have the most part of the problem behind you.

As you can see here, many try to push themselves before work. This is the reason for employers’ concerns.

Then the questioner can’t keep the date?

Do you have any relatives or acquaintances that can bring you in? Vitamin B is still the best for applications

Ask the Chamber of Crafts and the IHK. They know where there are free places.
