Wie ändere ich den Speicherort von SSD auf HDD bei meinem PC?

Hallo alle zusammen,
Bei meinem PC (WIN10) habe ich eine SSD (Laufwerk C:) und eine HDD (Laufwerk D:) Speicherkarte eingebaut. Geplant war dass die SSD nur für das System und der Rest auf die HDD Speicherkarte gespeichert wird. In den Einstellungen (“Speicherort für neuen Inhalt ändern”) habe ich gleich am Anfang eingestellt dass es alles auf Laufwerk D: abspeichern soll. Gestern durfte ich jedoch frustrierend feststellen dass es trotzdem alles auf das C: Laufwerk abspeichert. Somit ist meine HDD noch so gut wie leer und in der SSD füllt sich alles an.

Nun zu meiner Frage:
1. Wie stelle ich es endgültig ein, dass es alles auf das D: Laufwerk abspeichert?
2. Wie kann ich alles was sich nun auf meiner SSD Karte aufgesammelt hat (außer das System) so verschieben, dass ich den Pfad nicht zerstöre und alle Programme noch komplett funktionstüchtig bleiben?

Hallo, habe vor paar Stunden etwas auf Instant-Gaming gekauft für den Pc, den Code habe ich per Email bekommen und direkt bei Rockstar eingeben, wo „Code einlösen“ steht. You can change the location for the user folders in their properties.

For programs, you can choose where to store them. In part, you have to choose the custom installation.

With already installed programs it can become more complicated.

For games that you have installed via Steam, Steam offers to change to the location.
To do this, you have to create a new Steam library on the other disk (see picture) and can then right-click the game in the Library tab to open the properties. In the “Local Data” tab, you can change the location.

In other programs, it becomes a bit more complicated.
The simple way is a new installation on the other disk.

However, the data can also be moved and the system can be preset via a symbolic link that the data is still on C although they are stored on D. Here in the video this is explained by the user directory.

  1. You need to select this when installing programs where to install them. if you need to download something, you need to specify where it is to be saved.
  2. For programs, the easiest way to uninstall and reinstall is to reinstall.

However, it becomes problematic with my school program (SolidWorks), as I need an extra license for this, which runs out when I uninstall it and reinstall it or not?

So I don’t know a program in which the license expires when uninstalled and you can hardly imagine it as this would lead to considerable problems.
