Why so little?
This question is only for those familiar with the Wiener Neustadt and/or Lanzenkirchen area. I'd like to know why Lanzenkirchen, a town with 4,140 residents (or more by now), has so few shops, leisure activities, etc. Bad Erlach (neighboring town with 3,196 residents) and other smaller towns have many more. One more thing: the train station in Lanzenkirchen is very old and really small. Every other town, even with only 1,000-3,000 residents, has a nicer train station. Why is that? And there's nothing going on in Lanzenkirchen either, somehow.
Perhaps it is because lanzenkirchen is not as touristic or economically important as other places. Or there is simply not enough demand for shops and leisure activities. As far as the railway station is concerned, it could be that it is not used so often and therefore does not get so much attention, but these are only guesses
