Why is my graphics card not being used when gaming?
Today I noticed that my graphics card isn't being used while gaming (according to Task Manager, it's listed under Processes). According to Windows and GeForce Experience, the graphics card isn't faulty. I also ran the DirectX diagnostics program, but nothing was found. And yes, I did restart it.
Does anyone have any idea what is causing this?
What games?
Possible errors:
– HDMI/DP cable in motherboard instead of GPU
– It can be that you’re tapping out for Taskmanger and the game automatically lowers the FPS and therefore is no longer a load on the GPU.
– The game is CPU intensive
Games: Destiny 2, Warframe and the First Descendant
Ne the HDMI cable is in the GPU.
I did it earlier that I did while I zoomed because Task Manager showed a mate in the discord via live broadcast(do not have two screens). The GPU load has gone up to 3%, but otherwise to 0%. I played Destiny 2 with high graphics. My CPU load was between 40% and 60%.
how much fps do you have to be around the 70-90 fps.
