Why is my graphics card not being used when gaming?

Today I noticed that my graphics card isn't being used while gaming (according to Task Manager, it's listed under Processes). According to Windows and GeForce Experience, the graphics card isn't faulty. I also ran the DirectX diagnostics program, but nothing was found. And yes, I did restart it.

Does anyone have any idea what is causing this?

What games?

Possible errors:
– HDMI/DP cable in motherboard instead of GPU
– It can be that you’re tapping out for Taskmanger and the game automatically lowers the FPS and therefore is no longer a load on the GPU.
– The game is CPU intensive
