Can it be that there are no brackets? What exactly is that? From f follows w is also when true when both f and w are wrong. The equivalence (f -> w) <=> w is therefore not given.

The implication has the property only to be wrong if the premise is true and the consequence is wrong. That is, if f and w are wrong, f -> w is true but (f->w) -> w is wrong, so this chain also falls on the nose.

With such equivalence or implications, it always helps me to make a small truth table…
