Why is HDD not recognized in Windows?

Hello,

I've been using a Toshiba HDD (MG08 16TB) for about half a year. Yesterday I noticed that it's no longer recognized in Windows.

I've already replaced the SATA and power cables and connected a different HDD. The other one works, but mine still doesn't.

I also tried formatting and reinitializing it with GPT. I get the error message that it failed because of a system error.

I 've also already changed the SATA port. The SSD is recognized in the BIOS but displays 0.00 GB.

I've already tried disabling and re-enabling the port. It didn't help.

My question is: why isn't it recognized in Windows, and what can I do to get it recognized again? If possible, is all the data still on it? Or do I have to send it back?

that has swung the temporary and then just go to the Toshiba side and set a warranty claim

Jup.
Trendy, HDDs are very early or very late.
Would therefore fit into the picture – and there is still a guarantee…

Yeah, that’s really weird at HDDs: either within six months or after ten years or later.

I can’t tell you exactly whether and to what extent the really ne quality final control has

Certainly not as profound as CPUs or GPUs. Well, they have to be controlled because it is found out through the test as which Veriants can be sold

But is really the case with HDDs: within six months or after countless years and thousands of hours of operation

I’ve always been

Monday production caught. I used to. Was… Seagate I mean: 28 out of 40 dead within three months were from the same batch.

Even if chkdsk does not help, it will be broken.

Sounds like a defect
