As far as I know, this is a genetic defect. The animals die quickly, because the constant feathers grow out of energy. It’s called Featherduster.

Yes, even just found something: apparently ill feather growth through rum breeding:

The ( feather duster) is a gene that comes due to the fact that the swinging parakeets with a buff feather or some breeders call these birds also double buff. are bred in order to breed particularly large waves.

A similar question was asked shortly before.

The waves look like this because their feathers no longer stop growing. Thus they become longer and longer when they are not cut back. Some simply buy because they look at Ander, which are special. The suffering of the animals doesn’t matter – it’s all about being noticed. As with others, strange confessions.

Here is my answer from the other question:

Featherdusters are called these waves. There are mutations – and fortunately you cannot grow them actively.

These waves have a very short, painful life. Their feathers keep growing and do not stop. They can’t fly, they can’t care. Most of them don’t stand anything.

Because the feathers never stop growing, they die quite early. At some point, the force is no longer there, which the body is completely in the growth of the feathers. In addition, they do not have enough nutrients anymore.

These poor animals usually don’t even reach their first birthday.

These waves are so-called chrysan themes or also feather dusters.

They fall rarely, occasionally, unintentionally in shaft breeding.

They are wave-slips with disabilities, cripples, which are often not long viable.

Such things happen again and again and responsible breeders redeem such animals at an early stage.

It is a process which, unfortunately, occurs in the reproduction of all living beings, even in humans, again and again, but in a very small number.

To the address of so-called “animalists”, it should be said that in Germany special care facilities are also filled with thousands of children who are seriously damaged from birth (people).

However, people like to close their eyes in the face of severe malformations in humans and our society is constantly fading about it.

Instead of weathering populistly against breeders, in the face of the Christmas holiday, everyone should thank his creator for saving such a fate.

With Christmas greetings
