Why does the afternoon at work drag on so much?

My work is inherently very relaxed and enjoyable, but there's always that one point in the day when a minute starts to feel like an hour. This usually happens in the afternoon. I notice it often: the day up until around lunchtime passes fairly quickly, but immediately after lunch, it drags on like a stick of chewing gum. A minute starts to feel like an eternity, and time just doesn't seem to pass. Does anyone know why this is? Have you noticed this too?

Know the problem. You could reduce this a bit if you go for lunch, for example, a little later, so instead of at 12:00 noon only at 12:45. This makes working time shorter after lunch.

Hello,

I think it might be because in the midday/afternoon area there is a physical performance depth in which you feel tired and sometimes unconcentrated. Then come a minute like hours. Or if you've got night service, you'll have time for 3-6 in the morning.
