Why does the 1070 have more performance than the 4060?
Hello, I've been playing Fortnite for a while now in Performance Mode and low settings for better performance. However, I can't get higher than 120-140 FPS in the game, and sometimes it drops below 100 FPS. This is why I'm currently looking to upgrade my PC (Ryzen 7 2700X).
I was thinking about getting the RTX 4060, but I see in the test that the 1070 is supposed to be stronger than the 4060 in low settings. Does it still make sense for me to buy it?

The 4060 only has 8 PCI Express lanes. This, along with certain drivers, could be the cause. A sensible alternative would be the 6700XT, which should definitely be faster.
That can't be true. The 4060 is 38% more powerful than the 1070.
I just watched benchmark videos and the 1070 is 45% worse than an RTX 4060, because the 4060 always had 30-40fps more than the GTX 1070.
I would also be very surprised if the GTX 1070 were better than an RTX 3060. I have no idea where you saw that, but a link might be helpful.

And it says that the 4060 is also 42.9% faster in Fortnite. Perhaps I simply misread the chart? It only performs weaker at lower resolutions, while performance improves with higher resolutions. And it already states that these are predictions, not actual tests.
