Because they like it.

I find the black-metallic, finely structured shimmering of UD-Carbon clearly more beautiful and interesting than any simple pastel color. Titanium is also a beautiful material that can shimmer in great colors depending on the sun. So why would you paint that?

On the other hand, I find simple aluminum quite boring, I would rather have painted an aluminium frame. But that’s just a matter of taste.

Because it looks good, a layer of clear lacquer is usually present as a protection.

Especially with carbon frame it looks very good, and the gray aluminum also has something. However, RAW coatings do not offer many manufacturers.

Other advantage, however, is that scratches are harder to see, which is otherwise very strong in carbon frames.
