Why do people have the motivation to live?
For myself, I can't understand that at all. As an adult, everything is stressful, annoying, and uninteresting, especially because you really understand how the world works.
I can't seek "help" either, because I've tried that and either it doesn't work for me or there really is no help because the globalized society is structured in the shape of a pyramid, so that my life is de jure "not worthless" but de facto "worthless" (also in relation to suicide).
But if most people would like to remain in this terrible existence (from my perspective) until death comes anyway, then there are probably reasons for it that are beyond my comprehension.
I’d like to propose the employment of constructivism.
Every person creates his reality himself, depending on where he focuses his attention. It is a matter of decision: How do I want to see my life? There is always the possibility to see everything black and white, or even color. And if you have a “for” one goal – then the motivation comes too.
That sounds very simple (do not know the German word for it) and, in my opinion, also wrong. Most of them have power over a power. Be it humans or other factors.
How to create your own reality? By magic?
Learn about constructivism (a subgroup of the philosophical direction of knowledge theory). Most of the power has the power you give over you.
And the creation of one’s own reality: I recommend reading the book “How really is the reality” by Paul Watzlawick.
That sounds like a conspiracy theory. Ever heard of self-determination (of course under current laws)? It’s your decision. The reference to higher powers is only a cheap excuse to not have to take responsibility for themselves.
Yes, but if I do not give them their required power, they will certainly not simply be satisfied with it and will resort to more and more drastic methods, which would weaken me more than simply leave this power to them.
I think the question has a lot to do with the meaning of life. Since you have also added “Sinn of Life” as a topic: My opinion on the point, maybe that helps you:
Of course you can have fun. One can do meaningfully, for example, help people, be there for others, use for the environment or donate money. I’m thinking of fair trade.
I’m Christ. Many people believe that God gives meaning to life. God loves you. If you want to know something that convinces me that there is God, you can ask me, for example, or go to my profile.
I believe that religious institutions are the origin of these words and not a God himself. Of course I can imagine a God would love me. But God should love people who have it very hard. Especially children who produce clothes for Kik in Bangladesh. The toxic chemicals are exposed and have no high life expectancy. Only if God loved these children, I would want to pay attention to your words.
I think in many people you see as motivated in everyday life it is faith in God. With others simply the motivation to lead a good life. Love also plays a major role.
But I have the feeling that the believers simply ignore many things that speak against the existence of a God. That’s why I can’t do much about it personally.
No. It is what helps us overcome all the difficult obstacles in life. To believe in the good. Enjoying life with all heights and depths. It’s a belief and you don’t have to prove it, it’s in humans or not. I don’t ignore it if you don’t believe in God. I respect it. I don’t believe in God and you. That’s easy. That is not that I am better than you or vice versa.
I don’t really know what love is. For me it is currently a synthetic opioid which is 50x stronger than fentanyl. Extra imported from Canada.
The reason for this is that the extremely long lasts due to the very potent effect so that you don’t have more than approx. 150€ for at least 1 year for the same effect as heroin. You don’t have to splash it, just do a very small amount on your fingertips and put your finger on your tongue. Thus, e.g. no procurement criminality or the like.
The reason for this can be that one does not lead a self-determined life.
It’s not just a choice of one’s own, whether you live a self-determined life or not. Many things are “predetermined” by “higher powers”, that is all that has more power over one than oneself.
I didn’t say it was your own choice. I said that the cause of your feeling can be that you do not lead a self-determined life. You are dissatisfied, i.e. if you could determine your life yourself, you wouldn’t have to think that way.
Not all people have depression and are pessimists who see the world differently
Shame
I have no motivation
Don’t worry, that’s okay
All right, we humans are not even a dust grain in this universe. We are as meaningless as nothing else.
