Why do my towels smell even though I wash them at 90 degrees?

Hello,

Unfortunately, my towels smell really bad even after washing. I thought it was time to give the washing machine a thorough clean. But that didn't help. Then I thought maybe I should wash them at 40 degrees, even though 90 degrees kills even more bacteria. But that didn't help either. So I bought new towels and threw away the old ones. At first everything worked great, but then these started to smell too? Can you maybe help me with this? What am I doing wrong? The towels also foam up a lot, even when I don't use much dish soap.

Do you use liquid or too much detergent? If the residues are not completely flushed out and the laundry is not 100% dry, it can start folding in the closet to stock. That’ll give you unpleasant smells.

Dose after water hardness and degree of soiling, use better powder and NO softener. Let it dry well.

In addition, apply washing machine cleaner after instructions.

I would definitely try other vigilants. Otherwise I would have said it’s lying and the machine but if you already cleaned it…

Maybe you have deposits in the washing machine. Let them run at 90° without washing with a half bottle of vinegar, the very favorable for 69 cents.

You should also try another detergent.
