Why do more and more people write without considering German grammar?
Hey, I've noticed that a lot of people here on Gute Frage and on other platforms (Instagram, WhatsApp, etc.) are barely following grammar rules anymore. Why is that? If I want to be understood, I should stick to certain basic rules.
If I write like this now, nobody will understand me, or I'm already having some difficulties with these things. Is there anyone else like me?
Am I an isolated case or do others sometimes think: What the hell is the person I'm talking to trying to tell me?
Grammar isn't that difficult for people who spend their entire lives using it subconsciously. If it's such a big challenge, then I'm afraid Germany is in a really bad situation.
So, what do you think?
Depends on how difficult the grammar errors are. My painting is, for example, miserable, and was never better. And I guess my sentences aren’t quite correct at times, but still in a framework where you understand them very well. So if you’re talking about paying 100% attention to all the grammar rules, I’m totally exaggerated. But is a spectrum, at some point it is difficult to read. You should pay attention.
These are not grammar, but spelling errors (although perhaps from large and small writing). If you criticize others, you might be really precise yourself.
Thank you very much for the answer.
I believe that the lack of point and communication is already a grammar mistake.
That was actually intended to write so to give an example.
Of course I’m talking about the frame. I mean, no one is perfect, and as long as it is still legible and understandable, everything is fine.
Fair enough. I was too attached to the broken spelling to pay attention to inter puncture.
We cannot distinguish or know who just learns German and who grew up here.
For years, I’ve been reading from those who actually have to read it. That says everything.
Of course we can’t distinguish it on the Internet, but for example in WhatsApp groups. If you know all people you can distinguish.
And I actually know a lot of people who don’t have German as a native language, but still feel better with the grammar than my friends, for example, who have learned German since their birth.
Then ask them. 😊
But make sure you react unfriendly…
That’s it. 🙂
It’s difficult, especially with friends. You don’t want to push them in the head.
Could I do it?
