Kommt sicher darauf an… AWS ist bekannt und bietet z.B. einfache Hardware-Skalierung. Für eine Firma ist es nicht unbedingt notwendig, auf den letzten Cent zu schauen… und wenn ein Container eh nur eine begrenzte Zeit läuft, fällt das letztlich eventuell auch nicht mehr so ins Gewicht. Ich kenne mich nicht weiter aus, aber Interfaces/ Bedienung könnte auch eine Rolle spielen.
Vertrautheit der Produkte, Bekannte Marke, Wechselhemmnisse, Zuverlässigkeit.
Vielleicht gibt es auch einen billigst Anbieter aus dem Kongo, der die Leistung für ein Sack Weizen anbietet, aber nicht nur der Preis ist entscheidend für die Anzahl zufriedener Kunden.
Preise sind nicht alles. Ganz einfach.
Qualitative Faktoren spielen auch eine große Rolle.
