Why do I suddenly have pain in my big toe?

I have hallux valgus and have been wearing orthopedic insoles for two years and haven't replaced them yet. I've never had any problems with my big toe before, but now I'm suddenly in pain. Is it because of the insoles?

The material of the inserts indicates with time, the inserts can no longer support the toe joint well.
You need new deposits.

Strong weight gain can also trigger pain at Hallux.

Gout?

Excess of uric acid – too much alcohol – too much meat, especially pork.

In order to be able to say that, you have to do a blood check with the doctor.

The great toes are stressed when walking on the sea, on them the feet roll off. Your question can only be answered by an orthopedic.

Your inserts have stepped flat and need to be renewed.
