Why do I look so thin?

Hello, I'm 15 years old, 1.60 meters tall, and weigh 56 kilograms. Although I weigh quite a bit for my height, I still look very thin. At school, everyone tells me I should eat more, and many think I only weigh about 45 kilograms. I know I don't mean that in a bad way, but I feel too thin. I'd like to gain weight, but the scales tell me I'd already be overweight if I gained 5 kilograms. The scales seem to be accurate, as I weighed myself at the doctor's, and my height is correct, too. I don't exercise and have never exercised.

Hi.

that is because thinly is often regarded as ill, but absolutely not true.

People with overweight feel more comfortable when assessing normal weights as too thin.

Actually, you’re already at the top limit of 59 kg.
