Why do condoms often break?

Hey everyone,

It's happened to me (M21) several times now that my condom has broken during sex. I have a suspicion, but I'm still a bit unsure how this could be happening.

It usually happens after a good 20+ minutes

Then the condom's reservoir slides backward (due to friction; perhaps not moist enough at some point), and then it's flush at the front, probably under too much tension. Until the material finally gives way…

I've tried several models, including Durex and MySize, checked the size, and everything fits as it should. I also know how to use a condom 🙂

I'm still happy to be proven wrong 😉

I am grateful for any helpful answer!

Then it comes to the fact that the reservoir of the condom pushes backwards (-friction; does not grow damp enough in between) and then it is flush at the front and probably too much tension.

Your analysis is correct, because that has happened to me twice.

Roll the condom. Don’t move back.

Vllt is too small. I don’t really know myself with all this, but it’s a logical solution. Try a bigger size. There are different lengths but also different widths so not of condoms but of p3nisen
