Because nails and hair are genetically programmed to grow, limbs are not. They grow once and then the program ends. There are animals that can replace lost limbs because they have the corresponding gene for it. People don’t have that. Greeting, q.

Do you know such animals?

That makes me curious now, that sounds kind of strange 🙂

By the way, researchers try to transfer this “gene” to us humans… so that in bad injuries the sick or missing limb can just grow up… But it will take a few more decades until it is ready:(

@ Mara1995 Isn’t that forbidden? I mean, this is gene manipulation?

Even if that would be what, the pharmaceutical industry will not want to cure this once brings money, treating eternally (for example with medications you need for a lifetime) brings much more money

I am also in favour of it, but I would certainly be useful.

Geckos, in which I can think of the tail because they can throw the “off” if you hold it

Because our ScHÖPFER wanted to. Because it’s so practical. Imagine they could grow up, the old fell off and it takes his time until the new grows, what do you do in time without arms and legs? There are also large parts of the body, that would take a long time.

Axolotl salamander is different, it is true regeneration wonder: The creature has the rare ability to rebuild separated limbs. For the first time, German researchers were able to decode their self-healing mechanism. Their findings open up completely new perspectives for regenerative medicine.

Scientists from Dresden have discovered how separated limbs grow in the Salamander Axolotl. The study opens up new starting points for regenerative medicine, the DFG Research Centre for Regenerative Therapies Dresden (CRTD).

Salamander Photo: dpa Wonderful animal: Separated limbs grow easily at the axolotl.

Accordingly, the Axolotl members do not develop as previously assumed from all-rounder cells (pluripotent cells). Rather, they are formed from cells which, like in mammal, can only develop into certain tissues. Nevertheless, in the Axolotl limbs, organs and even parts of the brain grow completely and functionally. The study conducted by Prof. Elly Tanaka is presented in the Science Journal “Nature”.

Oh, yes, the Creator….

what is “practical”? It is about the fact that a separate member (arm, leg, etc.) no longer grows (circle saw, car accident, swordfight). Then you just ran around 6 weeks with an arm instead of the rest of your life. That would be more practical. But the “creator” should be older.

Our SCHÖPFER gave us many examples. All the tracks we’ve ever built have an example in nature. This Salamander would be a good example, we could make use of his genes, his trick. Have we done many times, why not here?

I DENKE times because arms and legs tendons, veins and nerves have to be newly formed.

Finger and foot nails as well as hair do not grow “after” they grow constantly … only if the “worms” are damaged by disease or mechanical influences then they no longer grow.

Arms and legs and other parts of the body as well as the organs that adjust their growth with the achievement of the intended development stage.

This is the difference, and this inevitably results in my “first” answer to your “first” question…

and something else: what dominicus has said is not true. 1. is that no answer to this question at all and also: if a person is born, do you think that the body is pre-programed that he eventually abrades his nails?? No. because if they were NOT cut off, they wouldn’t grow after your theory, so we wouldn’t cut them, do you understand? because at some point they would have to start growing…

I’m not sure that’s been said. i ́ch had no lust to read all communicators. foot and tenets are dead cells. the köroer is producing cells all the time, and they have to get out at some point, and then there are nails, ten nails and haare, which also grow after the dead a few more time, since they are immrenoch cells in the body.

hope that could help^LG jajidejumbo

in the bones, after puberty, the epiphysis joints are closed, i.e. you no longer grow into the length, your bones renew only, i.e. bones are gradually rebuilding. your nails and haare are from other cells, so-called skin-hanging temples that are pushed outwards, therefore they grow, by the way, grow ears and nase unfortunately for a lifetime

Because it’s x)Ne, seriously. So hair & nails consist of cornea & which now automatically grows so to speak. But it takes a very long time. Now imagine, you’re losing your arm and swinging, he’s back. Would you be funny, or ? xD

fingernails and footnails are used to protect the fingernaps or teeth … but they are constantly slept, etc so they have to grow.

Nails are as in animals (ab) use tools. Without nails, you could hardly do many things in everyday life.
