Why can I see the caller before I answer?

Hello,

Sometimes when I was called via Face Time, I could see the caller via their video (not hear them) even though I hadn't pressed the green answer button.
Why is that? And have you ever had this happen to you? It only happened to me a couple of times. Otherwise, everything was normal without me seeing the person. 🤷‍♀️

That's weird.

Normally, you should not see the caller until you start the conversation.

I didn't.
