Why can't I drink water?

Goodbye

My question would be why I'm apparently too stupid to drink water.

As soon as I drink still or mineral water, I feel nauseous and get a terrible headache.

Strangely, this is not the case with flavored water (cherry, peach, etc.) and tea also goes down like nothing.

I've tried many different types of water, including tap water, but somehow none of them work.

I always feel like I'm seasick or like I have a fever and a terrible headache.

If anyone has any idea what this is from or any tips that would be really appreciated.

Thanks 😉

It depends on the source of the water. I have that problem with some varieties, too. Try Auenwald, Vilsa, Mineau, or Bad Pyrmont, and medium is best.

I also like to add a good squeeze of lemon juice.

And I also prefer this "medium" version.

It could be psychological, or perhaps due to a habituation effect from drinking flavored water. In this case, you could slowly work your way toward drinking plain water.

Maybe you also have a sensitive stomach – flavored water often has a higher pH, which you may tolerate better.
