Why can't I change my microphone level in the settings?

Hello, I've recently been unable to change my microphone level in the settings. It's stuck at 0 and can't be changed. Everything was working fine a week ago. Can someone help me?

The microphone must be connected. – Then try the following:
Right-click on the white loudspeaker symbol in the taskbar > Sounds > Recording > Double click on the microphone entry > Level > Slide the level to the desired position.

If offered by you, you can increase the microphone gain if necessary – but in dimensions, otherwise you can use audible noise.

You can fix this if you are able to “improve” with the activation of the “noise suppressant”.
