Why are veins in the hand sometimes large and visible?
Why are my hand veins sometimes large and clearly visible? I can feel and touch them, and they're also very thick. But why is my hand surface sometimes smooth, and I can't touch the veins anymore, and they're not as thick? How do they become so thick and visible on my hand in the first place?
Most people have very little fat on their hands. Therefore, the veins are clearly visible just beneath the skin. They become thicker when you constrict the blood flow, like when you lose weight.
Hi, so it happens to me often too and I check and but for me it's mostly when I take a warm shower or something like that, so I think maybe your veins are expanding
When you use the muscles in your arm, more blood flows through (or it flows faster?) and they get bigger I think
At least I know it from sports
