In most transport modes, the costs for the bus lines are so high that the ticket prices do not compensate them.

An increase in tickets is due to the fact that costs increase. Fees of bus drivers, acquisition of new and modern buses cost more.

Personnel in the transport companies gets more pay each year. Repairs will be more expensive because the prices will increase in the workshops.

If such a bus runs through the area with only 5 people, it can never be cost-covering. But this is often the case that the buses are not fully occupied. Usually only in the morning or after work.

All that becomes more expensive is costing basis for ticket prices.

Transport companies want to make profits. You have to pay new purchases, new buses or trams, electricity becomes more expensive, salaries increase something. Like everywhere, it’s about money. With us, everything becomes more expensive.

In the ÖPNV you are happy when you write a black zero, no one dreams of winning.

Why all wages, all energy costs, all car costs, all costs for electrical appliances, all service costs…..? Every bus driver deserves more, the maintenance costs for repairs and maintenance for a bus have increased…. This is the eternal cycle of a free market economy! The state is looking forward to higher revenues!

It could of course be due to the fact that the costs of the buses have become more expensive or the bus drivers want to be paid better.

because you want to earn more and more. Fuel has also become more expensive. They don’t get new purchases.

I don’t understand your question. You don’t pay for a bus ticket today more than a few years ago.
