Why are techno festivals always at night?
Why do most techno concerts and festivals always take place at night? Festivals like Wacken also manage to hold individual concerts during the day. I've always wondered about that, because it's just not for me; I think those are inappropriate times…

That's not true. Every festival usually starts at midday/afternoon. But in the evening only the big acts that everyone wants to see and also deliver the best show. This may seem like it's only at night. Often it goes into the night until very late and then most of it runs in the dark.
That's what it's like when waking up. Program usually starts at noon and then likes to start at night at 2.
The acts go from midday to night. The greatest artists first perform in the evening.
Would be new to me that tomorrowland, the merger, the MAYDAY, the Loveparade etc. will take place exclusively at night.
