Why are people so sensitive?
I mean resilience! Let's start with skin! It's so sensitive! You can cut it so easily! With paper, iron, or a razor blade. Why? Why isn't skin more stable? Bones: They're not resilient. You break it instantly, you can cut it with a sword, it can be crushed, etc. Iron is very dangerous for bones. For example, a hammer or axe can destroy bones. Why are bones so weak? In summary, our bodies can't withstand anything. Very weak and sensitive. Even trees are harder :/ Seriously, bones are as soft and strong as chicken bones. We have to endure extremes. Like iron tools, swords, and weight. But our bones have disappointed us.
You can’t just cut people’s skin. Either you get an abortion from the person before or it has consequences for you in the after.
That’s why we didn’t develop a turtle armor. Because we look after each other and the group.
Think you can compare it well with the wildlife. There are also good reasons why one animal has more stable bones, the other thicker skin, be it now because of environmental influences or regulation of body heat, etc.
We don’t need much of it, at least today.
The human body is very stable from scratch. But a man isn’t a machine.
Well, instead, we humans were given brains that we were not hurt 😉
The answer is because how we can afford it.
People are social beings, can encounter wild animals through coordinated strategies in groups. A turtle armor or hard bones would be rather impediable.
