Why are my scans saved somewhere different than when I upload photos from the camera? Windows 7?
Oh, for heaven's sake, I'm supposed to upload or transfer a photo for my health insurance company, haha. This photo appears in the normal Pictures folder and also in classifieds, gutefrage, etc. (download photo), but when I try to move or download the photo in the health insurance form, a folder appears without the freshly scanned passport photo. This pisses me off. Under "Pictures," it says "This includes 1 location." Great. And now? Can someone please save me?
You can try to postpone it.
But please do yourself and us a favor and switch to Win10/Win11.
Thanks for thinking along. Knowledge is power, and ignorance is powerlessness. I don't know how to postpone, and I'm about to insult the health insurance company, but how? It's their fault if it doesn't work with your mask.
No, because where it opens isn't decided by the health insurance company, but by you, the browser, or Windows. The health insurance company has no influence over this.
Funny thing: This feature only works for smartphones. Seriously, I think I'm crazy. This Germany is sick!!!
You can postpone it. I'd rather consider Windows 10, or 11 if it's supported.
Thanks for thinking along. Theoretically, you're right about 10 or 11, but I didn't see the point in switching from XP to 7. What's the point of all this fuss? It's just a way to generate more revenue so the old computers won't run on it anymore. It's disgusting.
Or, for example, the ridiculous size of HDDs. 1 TB—who can even find photos on that? People take photos of every little thing anyway. This world has gone completely crazy with all this virtual nonsense. And no one's putting the brakes on it, like Hitler. The downfall is imminent, but no one's shouting "Stop!"
Security, performance and bug fixes.
Additionally, XP machines connected to the network are a huge problem, as they are often attacked (due to lacking security updates) and then end up in a botnet to attack others. Who says 1 TB is only used for photos?
Was?
