I print with a Samsung SQ 1200 and a Sigma SM8000. It's impossible to get a ribbon for these machines. Only on eBay are there a few offers; they cost upwards of €70. Are there no companies that still make ribbons?

Unfortunately rather no, because the machines are just on the oyster. Don’t get me wrong. but if you’re just about writing, a PC or laptop with printer is far superior to the electric typewriter and you don’t need to worry about the ribbon.
