Which speedometer should I trust?
Hello. I have an e-scooter that goes 20 km/h. Using a GPS speedometer app, I got a reading of 18.5 km/h. Which speedometer should I trust more? Thanks in advance.

I want to convert my Speedfight 2 50cc LC (water-cooled) to a self-mixing engine. But how exactly do I do that without damaging anything? Is it possible to remove the oil pump, but then it still sucks in air, or what? I have no idea, or maybe it needs to be put back in, and…
I would like to attach a DZB to my moped (Tomos Califone). Now, with most mopeds it is not that easy to attach a DZB as they do not have a CDI unit. Since my moped is relatively modern (2002), I thought I would take a look and see if my moped does have a…
Good morning. I have a retro scooter from Benzhou, the exact name is Benzhou Yiying yy50qt-21a I currently have a problem where my electrics are no longer working properly. Without a battery, it starts with the kickstarter and the front light comes on, the indicators don't work. With a battery and no kickstarting, nothing starts…
Hello, I drive a Sym Red Devil 50, built in 2007, 2-stroke, identical to a Sym Jet Euro x, built in 2007. My problem is that the scooter stalls as soon as I go up a hill. When I give it full throttle, the engine speed drops relatively quickly and it doesn't do anything anymore….
Hello, my moped is a 4-stroke engine with a 19 mm carburettor and is running too rich when idling, even though I have screwed the idle jet in completely. It is still running too rich. Is the problem with the main jet?
So, as described above, when I pull the shock absorber on my Simson, it runs at around 3500 rpm. However, when I close the shock absorber, it goes straight to around 4300 rpm (I have to lower my idle throttle), but I don't understand why I get lower rpm with the shock absorber than without….
There are laws that Tachos must show more, but in no case less.
Keep on the speedometer on your vehicle, so you’re on the safe side.
Great thanks 🙂
GPS is usually more reliable
Ok because the one app shows 18 kmh and the other 19.6 kmh. That’s why it’s hard to find out how fast the e scooter drives.
You have a certain tolerance for GPS
Ah achso ok 🙂
GPS would trust more…
