Which profession will be worthwhile in the future?
Hello everyone,
Which careers will be worthwhile in the future? Please list technical (eg, engineer, mathematician) and non-technical ones.
I would like to study something future-proof but unfortunately I am bad at science.
I will soon have my high school diploma in hand, but that would not stop me from completing an apprenticeship.
I look forward to your answers!
No one can predict the future of what's in 30 years now no one knows.
But you can be relatively sure that you don't do what you do today in 20 years anyway, or at least you don't start today if you try to make a little career.
But if you would ask me, things in the IT field are relatively solid in any form you will always need even if much is taken over by the AI in the future.
I feel bad in math, NwT even if I find that interesting
Occupations in the economy are well paid, but unfortunately are not crisis-proof. If you live in an area where there's only one factory, you'd have a problem if it didn't exist anymore. Therefore, I recommend professionals that always have to do with people on site, because these often vital activities in humans cannot be carried out by robots or Chinese. Examples can be found in all medical professions, fire brigade, master care or as a teacher.
Is that paid well enough? I don't mean that there are bad professions where you don't deserve much. Security in the job is naturally attractive and there is a lack of personnel.
What's "enough"? This is all relatively to be considered. And whoever seeks a steep career must be flexible today, ie working at that place where the company offers your job. I have always earned "decide" because I wanted to stay in my house where all my ancestors lived. Other of my schoolmates have studied abroad, moved with family in Germany several times and have now become sedentary as managing directors abroad. I say, home stays home!
Education is worthwhile
AI will make in short most office jobs unnecessary – if You're looking for a safe job that's going to be in demand in 30 years, and then I'm just gonna get some grave graves and cops.
I also find it difficult with teacher(teacher). Everyone recommends it but we are in a 'modern' time and it could also be unquestioned by kI.
I think the statement is very daring 😀 AI is certainly a subject that many jobs are changing but not completely replaced.
30 years ago, no one believed that the fully automatic high-bay warehouse would make the campist's profession almost unnecessary.
All that has to do with telephone support will be almost completely replaced by AI – the banks are straight to close one branch after the other.
The same will happen in the insurance industry.
At the moment, in the damage regulation, people still assess the accident descriptions and pictures – that will eventually take over the AI - only cases that cannot be evaluated by the AI are delegated to a human specialist.
I happen to know from my work that these developments are all underway.
And today 30 years later, the statement is still a lie;) there are many automatic high-bays, but neither is that the norm nor has explained you the profession of the campist. Most of the pallets are still moving human trucks. Hand ringing at all corners and ends is also searched for warehouses.
Even in the areas where there are high-bays, there are still campists, you need less and the tasks change but are superfluous.
A lot of what you're describing is correct the AI has or will have influence here and where you've brought 4 people in the past you might only need one but you won't have the office jobs.
This is at the end not only a matter of feasibility, but a matter of cost-effectiveness and to remain with your example with the high-bays, it may be possible to use almost everywhere automatic high-bays, but it is absolutely not economical;)
