You need to see what the differences between the y values are. Those who have the same difference are parallel.

e. at (1) and at (4), they are always 2. At (2) and (3), -1 is always made. So they’re parallel.

They then have the same pitch and are therefore parallel.

If the y values change at the same distance, i.e. always +2 at both. That is, if the straight ones gave the same pitches.
