We are looking for an IP WLAN camera that we can use as a surveillance camera.
The recordings should be stored locally, but we should also be able to access them in real time on our home network. All of this, however, without the cloud, since we have a sauna in the garden 😅.
Can anyone recommend a system or is this feature only available on professional systems?

PoE supplies suitable power for the camera with ,you save the power supply to the camera. And everything is generated via a line ( Lan).
I have already built up such networks several times. Routes of 40-60 meters as Leitug are not a problem. The cameras are optional cloud or not cloud capable and you have the full overview at the headquarters. Depending on the number of ports from the switch, the switches can also be cascaded (depending on model )

Wouldn’t use WLan cameras,can easily be disturbed with interference transmitters and thus the transmission will be interrupted. In addition, many Wlan cameras have engraving vulnerabilities, are so easy to attack and so attacks can occur from the ambush.
I’m using some of Tapo’s, they’re enough for me.
