Which HVV card do I need?

Hi. I take the S1 from Sülldorf to Hamburg Central Station every day. The woman at the information desk told me the monthly pass would cost €105. With proof of apprenticeship, it'd cost €85. But I can't imagine I need this pass. It's just so incredibly expensive. Wouldn't a two-zone ticket be sufficient?

Here it says that the route falls under Hamburg AB – that would be more than 2 tariff zones: http://geofox.hvv.de/jsf/showTarifResult.seam?LANGUAGE=de_DE&language=de_DE&cid=17884 884 http://www.hvv.de/tickets/week-month tickets/general cards/ rten/

You need a Hamburg AB card, which corresponds to 4 tariff zones. However, the AZUBI cards are priced according to my information:

Monthly ticket for trainees (AB): €79.00 (in subscription: €64.80)

There are now more than two tariff zones. You drive over two rings (A and B in the HVV, ie the large area), so you also need a corresponding card.

Zones: 000, 101, 201, 301 and, depending on what Sülldorf belongs, possibly 401

Sülldort is double covered over zones 301 and 401, so zone 401 can be saved

If there should be two tariff zones, then yes!

I am very surprised that the lady gives you false information.
