Which graphics card should I buy?
Hi everyone, I'm currently playing at 1080p with 3 monitors and my PC specs are an R7 3800x and a 2080 Super 32gb Ram.
I want to upgrade to a 32 inch ultrawide as my main monitor and it is 3440 x 1440 and wanted to know if my graphics card can still keep up or should I get a new one 3070 ti, 3080????
Hi,
You probably want a 34" monitor, because ultrawide isn't available in 32.
Don't underestimate your 2080. It can run powerful resolutions
up to 8k 7680x4320p
You'll have to find a better argument to get a new graphics card.
These are the current prices for 3070(ti)

… and the same again for 3080(ti)

However, the 7900xt(X) is also available here

You will probably have to do a performance comparison

Hello,
Try it with your old card first. If it's not enough, you can always upgrade. I wouldn't buy an RTX 30 card then. An AMD RX 7800XT or better is recommended.

With your current NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super, you can probably still enjoy some games at 3440 x 1440 on a 32-inch ultrawide monitor, especially if you don't always need to use the highest graphics settings. The RTX 2080 Super is a powerful graphics card capable of running most games smoothly at this resolution.
However, if you're considering gaming on an ultrawide monitor with higher frame rates or ray tracing technology, you might want to consider upgrading to a more powerful graphics card like the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti or 3080. These cards offer more graphics power and can deliver better performance in demanding games and at higher resolutions.
As far as I'd say the current ones are enough for that, right?
don't necessarily need a new one?
