Which game engine should I use?

So far, I've been using Godot, Scratch, and RPG Maker (MV). Which programming engine should I use in the future? My plan was to use Scratch for small minigames and RPG Maker or Godot for more complex 2D games, while Godot is the only option for 3D games. What should I completely eliminate (probably Scratch), and can you create complex games with Godot?

Thanks 🙂

So I’d put Unity on your heart. The Unreal Engine is also highly recommended, but this is for starters and smaller projects I find more Overkill.

By the way, you can also make 2d games, i.d.R you create models graphics and Co but then in 3d.

Otherwise you could even just take a library for easier 2d games.

With c++ and SFML zB you can actually make very cool stuff 🙂

I would also say Unity, then you can put Scratch and Godot by side, Unity can 2D and 3D, Scratch is good to understand the logic, but not necessarily the best to learn codes

So that you don’t have to change around all the time, I want to set myself on one and learn this engine instead of many a bit, but a good one.

And I find C# a good all-rounder of programming languages…

But since the jz is 8 days ago, I think you’ve already made a choice.
