Which docking station should I use for my M3 MBA?
Hey guys,
I recently bought a MacBook Air m3 (16GB RAM) and am now looking for a good, suitable docking station for it. But I've realized that it's not that easy, and there's a lot of junk out there.
Currently, I have a simple, unpowered USB hub. I'm careful about what and how much I connect, as I don't want to overheat my MacBook. I have an audio interface that consumes 900mA and a MIDI keyboard that consumes about 500mA. I also have a headset and a mouse, but those are irrelevant.
I'm looking for a suitable docking station with at least four USB-A ports, Ethernet, and optional HDMI and DisplayPort. I'm less concerned with the type and number of ports, but rather with the quality and power supply, so I don't have to worry about anything. I'm willing to spend up to €200 or more, although I wouldn't mind less, of course.
Maybe I'm overthinking this, but I'd rather be cautious before ruining my new MacBook. But maybe you can enlighten me, because I have no idea.
Thank you very much in advance!
Then this from Anker would be an option:

If I didn’t count myself, all the connections you liked and you don’t have to worry about anchor quality.
