Which course of study after occupational therapy training?
I have a high school diploma and am training to be an occupational therapist. I'd like to continue my studies afterwards. Perhaps someone of you has done something similar? If so, which degree program would be suitable? In principle, I could do a variety of things since I have a high school diploma. But is there perhaps one (or two, three…) degree program that is related to the subject and also worth it in terms of salary?
There is a B.Sc. in Occupational Therapy, but the salary doesn't really change after that.
After your training, you could study in different areas to develop. In addition to the B.Sc. in ergotherapy, which often does not increase the salary, you could consider courses such as health management, rehabilitation sciences or psychology. These fields are professionally related and often offer better pay prospects and career opportunities in management or research positions. Teaching for health professionals would also be a way to work in the education sector.
Medicine if you make a TMS with a value of 100 and an FSJ (if your Abitur is not a specialist Abitur). A small disadvantage is that if you have an Abitur less than 2.0 probably less than 10 universities in Germany will take you to the ZEQ. If your TMS is great, you are now accepted with training at 75% of all universities in ZEQ.
