To get high, they should not be taken anyway. The recommended dose is: if necessary every 6 h a 1 LUP but max. 4 LUP per day.
I would recommend you the ratiopharm cough still capsules in which should not actually contain sugar.

Depending on how much you weigh around the 10 to 15 capsules.
But try what happens once before when you only swallow one because there are people who react allergicly to it.
