I wanted to get a new camera with a high zoom to photograph airplanes at high altitudes (11,000 meters). Sometimes I also go to the airport to photograph them from closer up. Which camera is more suitable for this purpose, and which is more worthwhile for the price?
Do I need weather protection for my camera?
I'd like to buy a camera for traveling. I'm very impressed with the Fujifilm X-S10, but it doesn't have weather protection. But do I even need weather protection on my camera? My alternative would be the Panasonic Lumix DC-G9, which doesn't have as high a resolution, though. I hope you can help me or suggest…
Polaroid SX-70, does the flash work without autofocus?
I'd like to buy a Polaroid SX-70 camera, but there are some with and without autofocus. I'm interested in both, but I don't want to always have the autofocus module and flash on the camera; it's just too bulky for me. My question is: Can the flash on the SX-70 with sonar autofocus be plugged…
Hello
what is better a Daimler E class or a smart one?
the Panasonic has a 12MP CMOS sensor with approx. 4.5×6.5 mm size (“Super 8” look) and came nmE around 2013 and was just under 900€ in the prosumer class. Panasonic used a technically-interested Pixelbinning 6MP pulldown because you could call a cross-wise Global Shutter as well as later with the HCX 1000 4K professional cameras. But that was at a time when many still had 50i TV or Bluray was the standard in 50i. The advantage is/was the image quality of fast motifs (Sport) or the Slow Motion image quality. Of course, it is “ineffective” to calculate from a 12MP sensor 2MP FHD or needs computing power, computing time and power
the Canon has a 3.2MP sensor with approx. 2x3mm size, so in about the same pixel pitch. The R606 came around 2015 and was an entry-level camera of the 250€ class and was not often sold in North Europe. The R606 is a split R66. The tiny sensor can be read out Global Shutter and around 3MP is the optimal overpixel size for a simple/fast slow motion. In principle, the R66 is suitable for sports videos similar to the Panasonic or even Super Slow Motion.
The crisp point is the R66 needs a lot of sunlight for this, which Panasonic is still doing at sports hall light down to 1400 lux.
Because of the tiny sensor, the R606 has gigantic sharpening depth fields and is easy to focus, with 1/2.3″ sensors focusing is already more difficult or misfocus can occur. The R606 is an error tolerant one, the Panasonic is aimed at experienced amateurs or professionals who use or see/understand the border area as needed when you get into the border area. The typical area of use of the Panasonic is weddings or events that have to “supply”.
