Which beverage cans are made of aluminum and which are made of tinplate?

I have to give a chemistry presentation on the topic of "beverage cans," and I wanted to bring some of my own cans to demonstrate, but I don't know which cans are made of aluminum and which are made of tinplate. I've already done some research, but haven't found any answers. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me :).

You could go to a supermarket with a magnet and study this question statistically. Take a few selfies and finish is a fun talk with a photo track. 😉

=> If you are immune to a minimum of aluminum, you have an aluminum minimum immunity. Would be a fun opener to introduce your theme.

The last beverage cans made of tinplate, which I can remember, existed more than 40 years ago in the university cafeteria, which were from the state Hofbräuhaus brewery Munich. All the others had already changed to the lighter, deep-drawn aluminum. Since then, I have not seen any tinplate beverage cans in Germany.

simply take a magnet and "test":

Aluminum cans are not magnetic (ok, sometimes the lid).

Drink cans usually consist of Al and tin cans made of white sheet.
