Which activities require our full concentration and intelligence?

Good morning,

I have a question. School has less to do with intelligence than with intellect. I was wondering which activities fully utilize our actual intelligence, because it's so complex. Surely there are a few things that do, and is it true that people with high intelligence and intellect have higher brain capacity?

Well, intelligence already correlates extremely well with educational success, so I would not underestimate the role of intelligence in school. However, on such a day of school, the supreme pupil does not, of course, run constantly at full speed. In individual situations one can also fully develop his intelligence at school, but it is more of a long hike, where one has time and repentance to admire the area on the left and right of the path. Unlike, for example, a strenuous thinking process where you need to think half day or so full power. But I don’t know if everything is intelligence.

I have such feelings during alpine climbing, where I must constantly process impressions and make decisions based on them. I’m often in a pretty nice flow state where my head is doing what he’s supposed to be.

Can I imagine logical thinking could be such a thing. So I mean real logical thinking. This is what mathematicians do.

Because logic isn’t intuitive when you get it right, I think. And it is on the other level in the head, not tangible, but constructs in the brain that you have on the screen and can link and think further.

What activities do our full concentration and intelligence claim?

IQ tests

School has less to do with intelligence, more to do with interlect

Intellect

It depends on the subject. Intelligence is the ability to think logically. This helps you in subjects such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, etc. in which it is about logic very much. In subjects such as history, earth science, etc. only a small bit and in subjects such as sports not at all.

Intelligence is the ability to solve a previously unknown problem by logical thinking. Intellect is the concrete application of this ability associated with a insight/a (more general) recognition gain.

Is that true that people with a lot of intelligence and intelligence have a higher brain capacity?

It is not exactly known what intelligence really favors. The pure size and the pure weight of the brain are definitely not. The number of folds could play a role and probably the number of links that are built and used.
