Which 360° camera should you buy?
What do you think of the “QooCam 8K” from Kandao?
We'd like to film two models as simply as possible, with at least one of them seeing the other from the side. The resolution should be as high as possible. No less than 4K, because facial expressions are important to the client.
So far, we only know of a "QooCam EGO 3D," in case anyone wants to experiment with 3D… It works quite well, anyway…
I’ve never heard of this camera manufacturer. Once gogled and from the bacons sounds a bit like a company drop with a niche product.
The sensor is specified as 1/1.7 inches (Note: This is smaller than the sensor in current middle class mobile phones such as Google Pixel 6).
20 effective megapixels should have the sensor and allegedly deliver 7680 x 3840. I don’t think this is a real 8K.
Better get a well-known camera brand that dominates 4K+, that will be as good as this 8K peasant catch. GoPro Max, Insta 360 or Ricoh Theta Z1 e.g.
If you want the right 8K and pee with the big dogs, you should also be able to lift the leg and add a neat 8K camera, such as an EOS R5C camera with DualFisheye lens – covers only 180 degrees, but for that you also have high-quality 8K in 3D. That would be the professional setup.
Sorry, but I don’t understand. Movie models from the site? Why do you need a 360 degree camera?
it is about the fact that the two interactively “detail-len” a car… one is mostly next to the other… in the interviews, they are facing each other…
Aso and you’re supposed to be able to look around in the car.
hm… how to say it… it’s the client’s about the interaction between the two… the one wants to be done and the other wants it to be particularly clean (he’s also to blame for the pollution…)… I can’t write that exactly here…
If the camera is on a tripod, then why do you need a “vision-leading” model? The two mulles can stow ahead and talk. Why does one have to run around with a camera? Bzw why does the camera have to strike between them?
I mean the view of the supervisor model on the executive model…
How far does a camera block the view? The view comes from the camera. I don’t have to be late.
ok… here really doesn’t work a professional… the only professional I’ve got to do with is the tax advisor… and even if it’s absolutely necessary… we’re just sending each other letters
is called “detailling”…
Is there someone you get on a tripod and don’t lock the whole view?
Every time you throw back information that doesn’t make any sense. Since when do you have to clean during a recording?
Never mind. In any case, if you want to do this professionally, you don’t take any Consumer-360 degree camcorders but ordinary cameras. You don’t hold it, you just grab it on a tripod. I don’t know what kind of monkey production you’re doing, but professionally it has nothing to do with – especially if the customer changes your bills.
that is small and handy so that one can keep the good while the other is busy with cleaning…
Yes, but what does it all have to do with why you need a 360 degree camera, somehow I don’t understand. And why even multiple cameras? You just take a wide angle lens.
about 1TB video files are created, and we’re supposed to have a script or something. “Storyboad” keep… the client then decides which models get a bonus (so that they take part more often) and very rarely is he also dissatisfied and shortens the bill…
because of Corona… we had to reduce the circulation as much as possible… even if it’s film art… there was no Corona case here as far as I don’t know… nothing so that allle models had to leave or something…. are all around the 25j and have no predisorders…
What’s going on?
I think I’m getting garnix more.
nee… it’s just a Bobby SUV… it’s about the facial expression… on both sides… so far, we’ve always set up several cameras at about 2m distance at different heights and hope that the client can get us this off…
that comes from the time when you could only be two in one room… Besides, we don’t have enough people to have cameramen…
Thinking in the 360 degree range is the best consumer solution currently the Insta360.
But you can also make your own Rig from several professional cameras if you have the necessary small money.
By the way, 4K at 360-degree videos is still very little. You usually look at only one detail from it.
why does this QooCam supposedly even create 400° with only 2 lenses? In your picture, there are at least 5 lenses… is the solution with 2 lenses then plagued by distortions? they don’t even try to get close to 8K…
we are looking for something easy to wear that doesn’t take much space between the models…
Look at some sample videos. The QooCam is not really convincing me now.
Yes, this is a professional setup with RED cameras that are not for 360° Videos suitable, which is why a kind of rig was built here and the individual pictures are later stitched together.
